fudge - to freeze or not to freeze?

I always give out baked goods to our neighbors and this year I settled on fudge. It the only Paula Deen recipe I use, its the one with the use of marshmallow puff, condensed milk, butter and due to the price I will be using walnuts instead of the cashews I have used before. Im also considering adding some raisins.

Will this particular recipe freeze well? I will need to have several pans made up to then divide up and package and would rather make them up one at a time over a period of a couple of weeks, then thaw, divide, package and give out in the space of a day.

Sometimes I find that with baked goods, the consistency slightly changes (not in a positive way) after freezing and then defrosting to serve. Would a change of consistency likely take place with this recipe of fudge - or any other typical fudge recipe?

Thank you!
