Recipes for "fresh" bonito?

I'm having lunch with one of my friends tomorrow, and she is giving me some bonito... they apparently caught quite a few during the last days of October, and I'm not sure if the bonito have been left whole or what.

The bonito have been frozen since the very end of last month when they were caught. I don't think they have scales, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone have any T&T recipes using bonito?
