Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for doing such a great job testing! We've sorted out some bugs and have fixed these issues:

-Html tags showing up in the preview window
-Internal server error when trying to edit
-Inability to edit some posts with special characters

Mobile users -- are you having any problems?

If you are still having any other issues, please post them here so that we can resolve them asap. We're hoping to roll this feature out to all forums very soon.

Thanks again!

Is there any way to go back and edit older posts?

I just re-organized my Photobucket library. That broke all my photo links. I'd like to fix a couple of older posts, editing the links to the new locations.

RE: Editing Posts Update

Hi John,

Unfortunately, you won't be able to go back much farther than a week ago. Sorry about that, but if you want me to delete those posts so you can repost, I can do that. Just let me know.

RE: Editing Posts Update

The editing feature has benefits, however in some situations it may make other member's follow up comments meaningless.

That's why other forums allow a limited time for editing your own post, 30 minutes or one hour.

RE: Editing Posts Update

I agree with DC's reasoning re making the editing time short.

Editting should be only for fixing typos and that sort of thing -- stuff you think of a millisecond after hitting the submit button.
