Exciting find!!!!

I found cake yeast at the grocery store yesterday and I'm so excited. I have a recipe for nut filled butterhorns that we all just love. They just aren't as good with the dry yeast.

I do have a question though. I ususally make the dough, separate them into 8 small rounds, refrigerate and bake them off as I want them. Could I freeze the dough at this point instead? The yeast will expire before Christmas and that is when I really want these treats. They aren't quite as good when frozen after baking.
