| Thank you all for the greetings and cards. They have really made me smile and be grateful for my friends here. I have had a quiet but lovely day, starting out with my Max-made lovely foamy latte in the morning. Then off to exercise on the treadmill. That is really paying off, last year on my birthday I still had three bar stools in the kitchen, at the sink, the stove and the counter, and I moved from one to another to sit while making dinner. This year I can cook dinner on my feet and the stools have gone away. Even though I still get tired at night, I can walk for five hours through a museum with only a lunch break. Max brought me lovely roses and a sweet card and we had fresh crab on large salads for a special lunch. We are putting off my birthday dinner for a week. Max is taking me to Montevideo, UR and Buenos Aires and we will have a celebration dinner there. We're both looking forward to the trip and seeing part of the world we have not been to. We're staying in those two cities, along with two days in Colonia, UR - all at sea level so I won't have any problems. Thank you for making my birthday so special. Lee |
