My Apple Crisp

Last week I posted that I had purchased Braeburn apples for either a pie or crisp. For various reasons I didn't get it done until today. The first thing I noticed was that I had Jonagold not Braeburn apples. So much for my memory. Made an apple crisp that was delicious even though I didn't hear the timer ring. The apples were still in slices and not mushy. I think it cooked about 30 minutes longer than it should have and if I had taken it out on time the apples would have been much firmer. Probably won't use Jonagold again, but the flavor was wonderful.
