These appys were so good...

One of the things I love most about the CF is sharing of recipes.

Cold appys are always a challenge for me. I have a gazillion hot appy recipes but when it comes to cold I usually fall back to antipasto, cheese, olives and an assortment of dips/spreads.

Amity made this for T-Day and it was delicious. I served it with a twist this past weekend......to rave reviews.

Oh and it's easy peasy!

Line mini muffin tins with prosciutto and cook in a 400 degree oven until crisp.

version one

When cooled fill the prosciutto cups with finely chopped pears ( toss in a bit of lemon juice to keep from browning) top with a small amount of blue cheese.

version two

finely chopped apple mixed in a tiny bit of applesauce and topped with a small piece of good Canadian cheddar.

Salty, sweet, tart, crisp, soft ..... Yummy !
