Onion/garlic allergy - recipe tweaking advice needed

I have an odd allergy - I can't eat any member of the allium family (onions and garlic). I use lots of herbs in my spaghetti sauce - basil, oregano, thyme, savory and Italian parsley, but it really needs that kick that garlic gives it. Does anyone have any recommendations for something else I can try adding for more flavor?
