| I WON!... I WON!!... I WON!!!
I got it this morning ( Saturday )... Ann's hubby made it especially for me... lol Well, OK, Ann had him make it for the winner of the drawing " for not cheating " in the June Swap... ( Oops, at least I * think * Ann's hubby made it ??? )
It's perfect and perfection takes time... First they had to select a suitable piece of Vancouver Island Big Leaf Maple and rough cut it... Then they had to wait for it to dry in the kiln, ( Ann says they have their own kiln now. ), cut it to size, shape it, cut out the hole, sand it and sand it and sand it some more then apply a finishing oil and sand it again and add more oil... Whew... That's a lot of work... But that's not all... Ann hand wrote a very nice letter on Thibeault's Table Culinary Art Collection stationary, slipped the cutting board in a bag, put both in a huge bubble wrap lined envelope, addressed it, added about 12 yards of cellophane tape ( lol ), took it to the post office and shelled out big bucks to send it Insured Priority Mail! Ann, thank you, so very much... You've made a tired old lady very happy! Hugs,

| Wow, I wasn't expecting it to arrive until early next week. Rita, I hope you enjoy using your Board. It was made by Moe, just for you. This finally brings the last swap to a close. If there is enough interest, I'll do another swap early in the New Year. |
