Olive Brine

Recently I've taking a liking to "dirty" Martinis. Well, more like vodka with a healthy splash of olive brine and now I have more olives than I really want to eat.

While olive brine is available online, I really don't need a dozen bottles of the stuff. I read somewhere it was possible to make my own brine with vinegar, water, and salt and put it in with my brineless olives to pick up their flavor.

Has anyone tried this?
