Not sure at all what you mean by a dry picnic. Does that mean no alcohol or perhaps it means no rain!!!

I see you are from Nepal. Perhaps it would be helpful if you would tell us a little bit about what your family likes and what , if any, dietary restraints they may have.

Here we enjoy two types of picnic:
1) we go to the picnic spot and cook what we want and enjoy
2) we take cooked food from home or restaurants to the picnic spot and this is what called dry picnic
I have a joint family of 26 members and since all are fit and healthy there is no restrictions in having any kind of food.

Are you doing all the cooking for 26 people? Whew.

Of course, our picnic food is much different from your picnic food.

Do you have coolers or refrigeration, or must this be food that can survive heat and transportation? Things like cold peanut/sesame noodles come to mind, as well as beans, vegetable salads and bread. I very much like cold salads stuffed into a pita.

I was just reading about how great spring rolls are with various dipping sauces and it seems like you could do that easy enough. You could pre-assemble them or just bring all the prepared sauces, veggies/seafood/meat, rice wrappers, and some water to let everyone dip/roll their own. :)
