Discovered One More Use for Excess Zucchini

I have deep fried them, sauteed, roasted, stuffed, baked and boiled them, put them in brownies, cakes and breads, frittered and pancaked them, added them to soups and stews, cooked them with tomatoes and cheese (one of my favorites), and I'm sure there's some other way I might be missing. But I just discovered another way to fix them.

I made a small batch of bread and butter pickles last weekend and wondered how the recipe would work with zucchini instead of cucumbers. So, I made a small batch of three quarts. And guess what? They're pretty darned good! Anyone tried that before? I'm not that inventive, so I doubt I'm the first to try it.
