My first attempt at rosotto was gritty

I'd love to know what to do differently if I try rosotto again. I looked at several videos before trying a recipe tonight.

It has a very gritty texture and no real flavor.

Any suggestions on why it was gritty?

I just read online it could be the powdered chicken broth I used.
