| I had a package of left over Crisco sticks NOT THE BUTTER FLAVOR, so I got them out and found the recipe in the package for Chocolate Chip Cookies and my husband had just been begging for some. So I thought that "well I've made every recipe I can find so why not try this one too!?" So I made them and I want to tell you they are out of this world delicious! I used plain old unflavored Crisco and I will not change a thing next time. Only thing different in the recipe I'm posting a link for is it calls for the butter flavor and also nuts, I did not use any nuts. Other than that I didn't change anything. The cookies didn't flatten to a pancake either. I know crisco isn't so healthy but we seldom eat these so for once in a while I'm making them like this from now on! |

| I'm so glad you found a cookie you like! I also think crisco in a cookie makes the best chewy cookies but it does bug me that it does! |
