I found this recipe that someone posted saying it was on the back of a bag of ghirardelli white chocolate chips. Maybe you can substitute the double chocolate chips for the white. "This recipe was in the cookbook which came in a Ghirardelli gift basket. I believe itÂs also on the back of their white chips. Not being a huge fan of white chips, I just used chocolate. These are really good. TheyÂre not at all chewy, but I wouldnÂt call them cakey either. TheyÂre tender, bordering on fudgy, and puffy. The dough is basically a good transport system for the chocolate chips, so use really good chocolate chips. Oh, and Ghirardelli cocoa powder is really good." Double Chocolate Cookies 1 1/4 cups (2 1/2 sticks) butter, at room temperature 2 cups granulated sugar 2 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/4 cups Ghirardelli premium unsweetened cocoa 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 cups Ghirardelli classic white chips Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In bowl of electric mixer, beat butter with sugar at medium speed until creamy. Add eggs, beating at low speed until combined. Add vanilla. Add flour, unsweetened cocoa and baking powder to creamed mixture and fold until combined. Fold in chips. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet. Allow 3 inches between cookies. Bake at 300 degrees for 16 to 18 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes before removing from baking sheets. Makes 3 1/2 dozen cookies.

Chocolate Espresso Cookies ½ cup cocoa 2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 stick (½ cup) butter 3 large eggs 1 cup sugar 2 teaspoons finely ground coffee beans ¾ cup all-purpose flour 1/3 teaspoon baking powder ¼ teaspoon salt Preheat oven to 350°. Line baking sheet with Parchment paper or grease. Melt butter over low heat and stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips until smooth; remove from heat and stir in cocoa. In a electric mixer bowl beat eggs, sugar and ground coffee on high speed until very thick, pale and mixture forms a ribbon when beaters are lifted, about 5 minutes. Beat in chocolate mixture. Sift in flour, baking powder and salt stirring by had just until combined. Fold in remaining chocolate chips. Drop batter by heaping tablespoons about 2-inches apart onto baking sheets. Bake in middle of oven 8 to 10 minutes until puffed and cracked on top. Do not over bake. Cool on baking sheet at least 1 minute. Cool completely on rack. Makes 40 cookies Marilyn

IÂm sorry to report that IÂve taken a serious break from the Chocolate Chip Cookie quest. The journey has cost me pounds of butter, sugar, and weight, only to realize that each individualÂs pursuit is unique and personal i.e. "my cookie may not be your cookie." That said, IÂm enjoying reading everyoneÂs success and that picture is enough to make me rethink the issue, Jo. Confession: I grew up on Crisco cookies (with the ½ tsp. Water), with enough cookie to match chocolate, puffy yet chewy, etc., and I loved them. I now make "Marvelous Marble Squares" from my old "The Happy Cooker" Jewish cookbook, which are butter based, chocolate chips swirled on top baked in jelly roll pan. Cannabis contains many different chemicals. THC is the chemical that gets you high, CBD is one of the chemicals that has the most medical benefit. Both of these can be found in medical cannabis - some with just one, some with both, depending on the application. In terms of cancer treatment and chemotherapy in specific, THC is the more useful of the two because of several effects. First, it induces an appetite. One of the first things that happens with most chemo is a loss of appetite because the taste buds are dulled and everything tends to get a metallic taste due to cisplatin (one of the chemo drugs.) The other effect is relaxation. Cancer causes anxiety. Chemo makes that anxiety much worse. THC relaxes the patient and relieves much of the anxiety. The old adage "stress kills" is real life. Cancer is stress to the nth degree. Relieving that stress may be the difference between successful treatment and failure. For other medical problems, the amount of each of the chemicals in cannabis determines what it's effects on the human body will be. Seizures require more CBD. PTSD requires more THC. And so on. I'm not a doctor, although I was a paramedic for almost a dozen years and, having lost a wife to cancer and battling my own cancer, I've spent hundreds of hours pouring through medical research that relates to cannabis and cancer. So, I'm not an expert, but I've got a good feel for what works.
