canning question about pickles

Hello. I'm using a recipe for making refrigerator pickles that can also be canned for self life rather than having to store in the fridge. Some of the cans I've completed for storing in the fridge have vacuum sealed just the same as the ones I've boiled in the caner. Now I can't tell which ones I boiled and which ones need to be put in the fridge. My question is, if the lid seals and it doesn't pop in the middle, does that mean it's safe for storing in the pantry even though it may not have been boiled in the caner? Thanks for any help.
