Haven't seen it but I will watch for it. Is the ad for BBQ sauce? Or is the beast tangy and sweet? What could it be? Gotta go turn on the tv.

I like the Verizon commercial where the guy is talking to all the little kids about things being fast and slow. The kids are adorable and funny.

Is it an American only product? Or would this commercial be seen in Canada too? Any particular station to watch for it on?

LOL- I love brilliant ads some people are so creative.

I agree with the mob - Miracle Whip should be burned - or at least otherwise destroyed - I can't stand it - it definitely makes me gag. I've read (on the Beauty forum) that you can mix it with Milk of Magnesia to make a facial treatment, but that this mixture creates severe fumes, and you might have to do it outside. I don't keep MoM in the house, and certainly not MW, and so I have not tried this mixture.

Grew up with MW. Never really ate mayo until in college?!? Mayo is DEFINITELY preferred, but there's a time/place for MW, IMO!

I don't always understand that accent clearly,
So I'm not sure of the exact dialog.
But the over-all meaning is clear!
Sometimes I think I would like to get inside of a mind
That can come up with things like that.

I grew up with it, never had Mayo until I was grown.
Now I use mayo on/in many things.
But I have GOT to have Miracle Whip
when tomatoes are in season!

I always have both MW and Mayo in the house. MW for sandwiches(mine) and potato salad. Mayo for cooking, hubbies sandwiches and caesar salad dressing

You know what's funny, as I was reading and responding to this earlier in my mind was Cool Whip, not Miracle Whip. And now that I think about it, I've not knowingly eaten it in my life. I might just have to buy some to try it. "Keep and open mouth." I still like that line!

Teresa, yes, I saw it and as a good commercial should do, I remembered the product too.

I prefer mayo to Miracle Whip but if I was served a BLT or other sanwich with MW on it in a restaurant, I would not send it back.

Perhaps the ad agency has an employee who frequents the Cooking Forum and has witnessed the demonization of Miracle Whip and the rest of its brethren, including canned cream of XX soup, margarine, corn syrup, boxed cake mixes, and (shudder) Hamburger Helper. LOL. A quick search could give them dozens of threads like the one below for research and inspiration.

I predict a CLIO nomination.

It was not my wish to start the MW/mayo wars all over again, folks! I just thought the commercial was a hoot - that's all! So let us play nice.....please......LOL!

I use both of them. Nothing but Miracle Whip and soft squishy bread for tomato sandwiches, and I've been known to eat a peanut butter and Miracle Whip sandwich occasionally. Mayo for everything else.

No cream of XXX soup, cake mixes, margarine or Hamburger Helper in my kitchen, ever, they have to live elsewhere with the Jello. (grin) I do occasionally use corn syrup, notably when making divinity for my mother but I don't like the fact that it's in everything from catsup to licorice.

I like cornbread both ways, and with either white or yellow cornmeal, your choice. Elery's sister tells me that it isn't cornbread without white cornmeal and it must have no sugar, otherwise it's cake. (shrug) Fine with me, I'll eat it anyway...

No TV means no commercials, although I've been known to watch the more entertaining ones on You Tube.

I have never tasted MW. Actually, it may have been slipped to me on a restaurant sandwich, IDK. At least they can laugh at themselves.
