Favorite Gluten Free Cookies?

Ruthanna's cookie thread gave me an idea. I have a dear one whom I don't often see who is getting married. A dear one who has Celiac disease but hasn't had much time to develop her baking and cooking.

Do any of you have good gluten free cookie recipes that have regular ingredients and taste like real cookies (rather than alternative or "healthy" sweets)? Edit: Recipes to put in a shower present.

Regular ingredients means things that can be bought at any Whole Foods. So Bob's Red Mill gluten free AP flour, yes. Brigadoon millet (the kind you can only harvest in the moonlight every 200 years), no. If you have a great recipe that calls for a specific blend, that would be great, too, even if it might take her some time to work up to buying them all...

Many thanks!

JC

other edit: corrected "spelt" to "millet". Mind wandered...
