can I do this?

I blew my budget and bought some morel mushrooms today (they were gold-plated, you know). I have always dipped them in egg, flour and then fried them in butter before. Don't mention calories here, but am searching for some material on baking them without all the other stuff. Can I do this and would they taste good? I will be waiting anxiiously to hear some of your comments. THANKS. Barb
