Scones question

I was wondering if scones/mini scones can be baked ahead of time, cooled off, and then frozen in an airtight container (to be used at a later time) with no diminishing of taste and quality.

Also, if scones DO freeze well, would there be a problem if I've done a glaze over them prior to freezing them?
