swimming in a sea of rhubarb

We had snow flurries this past sunday. The garden is prepped and waiting but too soon to plant anything except some hardy greens. Arugula looks good but only an inch. Chives are about to flower...all 500 and they are everywhere, lol. Mowed over a few dozen by accident but they will thrive and be even bigger. The lawn is full of wild thyme that i stuffed in our chickens with lemon before smoking.

Rhubard is spectacular. Big beautiful flower stalks about to bloom next week...(i cut them back but not yet)
Mine produces through thanksgiving and why i use it in everything.
Just made another basic sauce, split it and made one with spice for bbq and the other i added a gas stove-top roasted red pepper for a mild savory sauce for last nights chicken.
I do need to branch out and try some of the pie recipes posted recently.
Or just start a rhubarb farm for a tax break...our little tiny town just raised our property tax five fold!
(we have a hearing thursday as it is no way near that value!) crazy.

Anything else Rhubarby i am missing?
It is the first thing that comes up in spring and i go through this every year...
