I didn't even think to take a picture....sorry! I'm glad that bottle made it unscathed...I always worry. The garlic was part of a set (with the press, dontchaknow?)So very legal. hehehe. I hope you find good things in the book, Lori. I haven't thoroughly checked it out yet. It was a little strange to be standing in Costco thumbing through it and seeing my recipe in there.

Thanks, everyone! So far it's been a lovely day...except it's cold and raining and I had to work, hehe. But it was a stress-free workday and I'm ignoring the fact that I'm a year older, so it's all good. I took off an hour early and I am sipping from my stemless (jelly) glass. As soon as the kid gets home we will head out to a place on the river that serves great food...all homemade breads, salad dressings and desserts. And, yup, Ellen...you nailed it...a bottle of Huckleberry Blush it will be :)

Thanks you guys...it's been a good day so far even if I did have to work for a few hours. I started out with an hour and 15 min. massage, then to work, which consisted of hiding in my office with the latte Mert had waiting for me and buying books. Then we had birthday chocolate cream pie and I left early. We're waiting for Liana to get home and then we're headed to our favorite Mediterranean restaurant that's famous for using lots of garlic. Fun place where the cooks dance around and clap and sing to the really loud Turkish music. The chef/owner will make the rounds beating on his drum, asking if we've had enough garlic. And on Thursday nights they have a belly dancer, so it should be an interesting evening. Meanwhile someone named Margarita Ontherocks is calling my name........

Thanks for the birthday wishes! This is the 5-0 birthday for me and it's just hard for me to believe it! After yesterday though, I'm FEELING it! LOL The house my boys lived in when they were in college is going on the market today so I was over there painting the kitchen cabinets and staging the bathrooms (cleaned them spic-n-span first). Oh my, I have soreness in places I didn't even know I had places! It probably didn't help that I came home and practically guzzled a bottle of wine while in the hot tub! So I guess 49 went out with a bang and 50 is coming in with a whimper. :-)

Wow, double posts TWICE, it must be twice the birthday celebration! I think you need a really, really long weekend, just celebrate right through until Tuesday.

Thanks for the birthday birthday wishes, lol. No rest for the wicked...a morning of meetings, but at least they were with people I like.

Cathy, it was a gorgeous day. We all sat down the street from the CdA Resort and gazed longingly out a wall of windows watching people enjoy the park outside.

Annie, a long weekend sounds wonderful, but I gotta work today and Saturday. I'll do my best to catch the train to Margaritaville the rest of the weekend, hehe.

Sol, those margaritas will have to wait until tomorrow. The mindset was there, It was hot. And as we were watering in the last of the blueberries we planted, thunderboomers rolled in and all of a sudden it felt more like hot cider weather.

Supposed to be nicer tomorrow, so I talked myself into taking the day off. Four day weekend...whoo-hoo!
