Well, ever since the mandolin tasted blood....

I used to have a mandolin, but once it tasted blood, it was all over, and I got rid of it. Maybe I watched too many Twilight Zones when I was a kid. lolam

Anyway, is there an easy way to make nice round slices of onions that would go on burgers? You know, the ones with almost the same thickness...

My food processor has an oval-shaped feed tube, but the onion has to be quite small in order to fit inside the tube for slicing.

Other than a sharp knife, how can I get those nice even rounds that seem to be the same thickness?
