Lamb, with Parsnip Ramps Jam

First Hostas, then Daylilies, what's next?

There are ramps (Wild leeks) which come up year after year, before any vegetables in the garden. Ramps also grow in the deep shade in my garden, they need no care from me. Ramps are now on upscale restaurant menus.

These dishes were made for MotherâÂÂs Day. A couple of guests were allergic to seafood, so just meat.

Leg of lamb was on sale for &2.94 a lb. Sous vided lamb with jam made with ramp bulbs and parsnip.

Simple butterflies smoked chicken.

BBQâÂÂd smoked ribs

And a few vegetable sides (Not shown).
