Full StoryI have 3 pts of overripe strawberries and no time to deal with them. They are not rotting, but won't last another day. Can I puree them and just freeze the puree to use later? Can I freeze without pureeing? If so, should I chop into large chunks?
What would you suggest for the portions? 1 cup?
Do I need to cook before freezing or can I just freeze the raw puree or chunks?
Do I need to add sugar? I would prefer not to. All of us are dieting.
Any other suggestions?
