Brad, I think that sounds like a perfect picnic lunch, you've hit a couple of my favorites with the ribs and the potatoes. I love potatoes in any form, pretty much, but I like potato skins better than the middles, especially baked crunchy.

I'll try and get pictures if I can. I think the Sangria is going to look very pretty: oranges, lemons, limes, apples, and strawberries all soaking in that rose colored wine (there's also orange juice and brandy or cognac-I'm thinking of subbing Triple Sec or orange flavored vodka if it would work? The recipe says "as desired" for those ingredients, meaning I wouldn't add much) :-). Would it hurt to use the frozen strawberries that are in syrup?

I think your menu sounds absolutely delicious! LOVE, love, twice baked potatoes!
I do want to add that you might want to look at Country ribs instead of spare ribs. It's just a personal preference but spare ribs have little meat on them and you need a lot to make a decent serving. The country ribs taste the same but are chunkier. Lots of people love the spare ribs the way people like snow crab legs- it's a social eating event because it takes so long to eat them.

Bumblebeez, country ribs are delicious :-). Lol I know what you mean about the crab legs, as I am a huge fan of them. Plus it's not every day I get to see these people, so it is a rather social event lol.

Like I said, I will try and get pictures for you all when we do have the picnic. I just hope it's a nice day, but cool enough to use the oven, when we do make everything.

Bobby, if you use the pre-sweetened strawberries, make sure your wine and choice of soda isn't too sweet. If it's club soda you're probably still fine, but if you're using 7-up or a similar fizzy flavored soft drink, it might be too much.

I always use Triple Sec in sangria, I don't care for brandy at all.

Annie, I'll have to remember that when we make the sangria. Maybe if there's good, fresh strawberries for sale, I'll use them instead. If not, just a small bag of the unsweetened frozen berries will suffice. Glad to hear about the Triple Sec in the sangria as well :-). I have never tasted sangria in my life, but I know it's very well liked and I know I like mixed drinks, and I'm really looking forward to trying my first glass :-).
