I am so stealing this idea for my friends visiting kids.
Seems no mater how well a child eats when 5yrs old, they switch around 8.
Hot dogs and pasta, fries and ketchup...salty/sweet. And not so happy healthy eating parents.

(guessing you need to slightly overcook the pasta so the ends stuck in get cooked, but kids are not necessarily in the al dente crowd)
