Raspberry Brambles Recipe???

Posted by love2weed (My Page) on

I have a dear friend from Boston that misses Brambles from Handley's. I have scoured the internet with no luck at all. It seems they may be something like a mini pie. Does anyone have the recipe or something similar?

RE: Raspberry Brambles Recipe???

According to this article, a Bramble is basically a cookie made with a flaky pie crust dough and filled with a raspberry jam. Topped with sugar. Looks like they would be very easy to make.I'd just cut rounds, add a dollop of raspberry jam and top with another round and seal with the tines of a fork.

Here is a link that might be useful: Raspberry Brambles

I meant to say, that they are probably only as good as the pastry used and the jam filling. I'd use a butter only pastry.

They sound so good. Would love to have one or two right now. Might try to make a copycat version of them soon.
