Chicken Stock Failure

I had a GREAT idea! Once a week I would purchase a CostCo Rotisserie Chicken. I would shred the meat for various meals during the week and make chicken stock from the carcass. Sadly, the stock was a failureâ¦

I took the carcass - splitting the bones up some. I added that to my slow cooker along with onions, celery, and carrots. I left it on low all night - close to 12 hours total. I then strained the liquid and ended up with about 3 quarts which I refrigerated. When I went to use it, sadly it tasted like water. Salt would have helped, but not enough. I threw it away and used my T&T Better than Bouillon instead.

What went wrong?
