Yes, they included the plumbing fixtures as well. It's all set to be installed. I just need to get the pieces necesarry for adding a shower with it. This is my only bathroom at the cottage and while a tub is great, a shower is a necessity! I did see that the feet were another $1700!! That's insane. What I think happened is that the owners donated it to the church so they could take the tax donation then it was the church selling it either through their rummage sale or via craigslist. I happened to find it on craigs list and had no idea what I was really looking at. I had no idea bathtubs could be so insanely expensive. do not use thin steel pans on induction unless they are going to be used to heat sauces only. a few months ago i bought a cheap 7 peace set of enameled cast iron? because i was not sure i wanted to buy a induction range. i have a 1 burner induction hot plate. any way the first time i used the fry pan on power level 4 to cook some sausage the pan warped and buckled and the teflon burned off the pan. my thicker stainless steel worked fine but is not non stick and of course everything sticks to it and i have to soak the pan every time i use it. i hate it. grin from other reviews i found do not use cast iron on a smooth top range. it is like sandpaper and will scratch the cook top. this ge induction range has thick fiberglas insulation on the oven door. very little heat can be felt from the front. also the door heat vents are covered by the cooktop food will not fall inside of the dore like the kemore induction range does. the vent on there door is exposed and every drip or spill will fall inside the oven door. now if i could find out where the pizza,convection bake and conduction roast touch tabs are. i have tapped all over the control glass and haven't found them. no one so far wants to help me add tactile dots to the controls i can't find. and whats the difference between convection bake and convection cook. there is suppose to be touch pads for both.

That's great. I cringe every time I go into someone's house and see a bunch of incandescent bulbs going -- especially on a hot summer day. The other day I was at a birthday party at someone's house, and it was a very warm summer night and their a/c was running. Just in the kitchen, living room, family room, and bathrooms, I counted 18 incandescent bulbs operating. Most looked to be 100 watts, some could have been 60 watts. If it was just a 50/50 split between 100s and 60s, that's 80 watts per bulb -- 1,440 watts of costly and unnecessary heat going into that house. A good place to start saving is with kitchen "can" lights. You normally see 65 watt floods installed in these. With compact fluorescent (CFL) floods, that drops to 13 watts per bulb -- for lighting that's actually brighter. In my mom's kitchen, I changed out eight 65 watt floods for eight 13 watt CFL floods, and she likes the quality of the light a lot better. Before, you could really feel the heat from all those bulbs -- all 520 watts of it. Now, with just 104 watts, the kitchen is very noticeably cooler, and the light looks cleaner and brighter. The next best bet for CFLs are table lamps that are used several hours a day. A few places where CFLs aren't good are won't pay off: Enclosed fixtures (often CFLs won't fit in them, and the heat buildup inside could shorten the bulb's life). Closets, attics, or other places where light bulbs are turned on infrequently, or only for a few minutes at a time. (CFLs don't last as long as they're supposed to last when turned on only a few minutes at a time, and the energy use of an incandescent bulb only used a few minutes a day is negligible.) Also, some CFLs aren't compatible with cold locations. They can be great in outdoor fixtures, and a big money saver since a lot of people use outdoor lights for many hours of every night. But if you live in an area with cold winters, you need to make sure that any CFLs you intend to install outdoors are rated for use in temperatures as low as what you are likely to see. You can usually find this information on the bulb's packaging.

Peace and Plenty is a non profit used appliance store in Frederick MD. I shop there from time to time for used appliances. I was in their store yesterday to look at some cabinets they got in. They are solid wood cabinets, and I did not see any particle board. They are in good condition. They have Maple fronts. The wall cabinets are 42" high. I was told that they will be getting more, as someone is renovating an apartment building, and donating all the cabinets and appliances to them. I plan to go back next week and get some.
