I'm not sure when I started to read the cooking threads but I have learned so much in the past few months. I had never heard of sous vide cooking but because of the threads here I have watched a lot of Youtube learning. Also induction cooking I had heard of it but no idea what it was until here. Today I learned my pots are compatible with induction so in the future it could be a possibility for me. I also learned about seitan and have purchased wheat gluten but still haven't tried making it. I did a whole day of foodie movies because of this forum though some were a little risky. I had no idea there were so many. I hope to learn how to take those beautiful food pics someday.
