Hey latecomers - I'll take all birthday wishes! I'm saving this thread, you all have me cracking up. Bunnyman I'll see if DS #2 still has the cannnoli picture on his phone. We walked to the dessert cafe before dinner to scope it out while DH was looking for parking in the very busy area.

Thank-you all! Wonderful day. Work went. Didn't get much done but no disasters. Stuck on what to get michael for his birthday. Lyra got a new blouse. Suppose a gift in itself not to want anything. Anyone got some world peace they ain't using? Jessy! We need to party but Sol has me on the bunny cam. Almost went and got that beer. We need to party again soon! Thanks again. WOW!... that day went fast. What is with the days going so fast? I took the day off! Cleaned cat boxes, laundry, grocery shopping... and time as Lyra. Small towns and country living.... I asked one gal for a date tonight but no she was not interested, so I goes and asked yet another and she is not available. Then I don't really cry very hard on shoulder of a gal that passed me by some years ago. When I get to the bar tonight all three are sitting at a table waiting for me. Knock me over with a feather. So loved but just not in love. Yeah I'm posting here so that is the end of that story. My oldest sister is cooking me a dinner tomorrow (today). Both pork steaks and beef steaks in my grocery cart today so fine eats ahead. I can almost break into a sweat just thinking about the first pork steak over the charcoal for 2010. Thank-you all! Wish I had more time to spend here. If I missed anyone's birthday thread it was because I was working ot and probably drinking the rest of the time. much love to all, lyra

Nice car Jessy! I think a trophy wife gets to have a cabbana boy?.... or is it a pool boy... or both? As my luck goes I'm clinking with cranberry juice and running a mild fever. Went to bed without dinner but still have that venison on my mind. Maybe for breakfast after I go back to bed for a couple hours... if sleep will come. Hi Everyone and Thank-you for the birthday wishes.

Alas I wore plain old jeans and t-shirt out with some sht stomper boots. Local gals and friends were out in force to celebrate with me. My second favorite bar kept 3 drinks in front of me until I said enuf. Favorite bar fed me and sent me on my way home.

As FB friends know I put a solid state drive in my computer. That was my present to myself... in addition to the whole week off work! Yup been living the easy life this week. Computer boots up in a few seconds now... speedy! Intel 520... about a $1 a Gig and fairly easy to install. Last week of rabbit season here in Michigan and a fine fat buck rabbit hopped out and offered to be my dinner... he was a little tough from age but tasted fine. Got a broth simmering from the ribs... probably gravy and dumplings later tonight.

Kitties joined the party when I plopped a 12oz can of tunafish on their plate. You should have seen their eyes pop! Lots of purring and paw licking after that feast.

A week long party... Ashley Monroe on the stereo at the moment... you might know her from the Pistol Annies group.
