This a cool deconstruction!

I bought at a local Italian shop this weekend,,,there version of chips & dip.broken canoli shells with canoli cream on the side hmmmm im thinking differnet .but maybe im out of the loop Havent seen this at a party yet here on Long Island!

The idea was probably created out of necessity. A good way to sell broken canoli shells.

I know of a bakery that's been doing this a few years, but they weren't broken pieces, they were all triangles like tortilla chips. One co-worker would bring it in for the other for her birthday - she liked it better than cake!
