I think I am doing something wrong...
Comments (6)Truzella: I have a Craftsman corded electric trimmer/edger/trencher. The head can be pivoted to function as a trimmer or edger. In the edger position it can be set at a slight cant to dig a shallow trench. In the edger and trencher position it absolutely takes the grass out when edging, but a very narrow strip. As a shallow trencher, it tears out the grass when you have it trenching with a hard surface facing the blade, but just makes an angled slot when you have a soft surface on both sides of the blade. Sorry to hear your Mantis is not giving you the desired results. Fairyprincess...See MoreI am doing something wrong...
Comments (6)I use Promix BX or some professional variation. I have tried adding extra perlite to lighten, But it hasnt helped. I will try cutting back some more on the water. I used to root african violet leaves for baby plants in a 50/50 mix of vermculite and perlite. It would stay slightly moist without being soggy. I have thought about some combo like that for the peppers. Thanks...See MoreIs this normal or am I doing something wrong
Comments (4)Sounds like you're doing the right things. Pod variation and size is pretty common with a lot of the superhots. I wouldn't worry. Before you know it, you'll be saying, "what in the hell am I going to do with all these peppers???" Check to see if there's any pest damage(or other) on the small ones that are ripening. many times, a pest will burrow it's way in, causing the fruit to hasten ripening. Comments (4)Good news. Did 2nd coat this am and it looks great. The walls were primed first and the paint is eggshell sheen. The roller is just 1/2" nap from HD. Not sure if it was the teflon one or the other. I think I was painting the 1st coat too thin but the 2nd coat definitely made the difference. I love it! Now can't wait until the room has lights/electric so it doesn't look so putrid! The room faces W so has little natural light. Ok 500 sq ft down. 3500 to go!!!...See Morearkansas girl
