reversible grill/griddle?

Hi. I am just wondering if any of you have one of those reversible grill/griddle stovetop contraptions? I've seen them advertised and noticed one at Wal-mart for 30 bucks. I thought that was a bit high, but I don't know since I've never really looked at these thins before. I thought it would be easier to store and clean than one of those electric griddles with the legs and the drip tray. I think I'd have more control over the heat too, but I would worry about the grates of the gas burners scratching the surface. I guess if I were doing sausage and pancakes, I'd have to do the pancakes first because I wouldn't want to wait for it to cool, then wash grease off the grill side before I could use the griddle for pancakes.

So, what do you think... are these things worth it or not? I do get annoyed when I'm doing pancakes and I only have one skillet that is big enough and can still only fit one at at time in. Woah, did that make sense?

Thanks :)
