Another sort of French apple cake

A Quatre quart aux pommes
This is a simple cake with fewer apples, but will keep better - easier to keep in the kitchen a nibble on a slice when you pass through the kitchen!

Weigh 4 eggs
Equal weight butter, sugar and Sr flour.
2 to 3 apples

Mix the butter and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs then the flour.
In a non-stick cake tin or loaf tin, put the cut up apples in the base. ou can add some caramel too if you like. Pour over the batter and bake at 180�C for about 30 mins.
