Dress fitting photos.

Alice is a junior bride's maid in a wedding in a few weeks. I will not be at the wedding, so this was my chance to get photos of Alice in her first formal dress.

Alice and the second girl look lovely. I love it when you post pictures; I feel like I've shared in her growing up to be such a beautiful young woman. The dress is so classic. I love the looped sash in the back.

Doesn't she look pretty! Alice has a lovely back and shoulders - perfect for wearing that classic style.
And she could be a model with that radiant smile!

All clothes look good and seem to fit so well at that age don't they.

I like dress 1 and 2 equally. That Whitecake Sugars is magical! I can envision a Christmas themed wedding for certain with that! I also love the brown and pink, but I'd have to do something more like Tiffany blue and green, but I love the dots, the flowers, it's adorable. Good choice of word. Oh, I do so enjoy seeing people in love. Your face shows it so much.

That is a gorgeous dress and you were a beautiful bride! What about an ad in your local paper? I don't recall if you mentioned that in your other post. You might also ask around at some of your local Churches.There might be a bride that can't afford a dress that you could donate it to if you aren't that interested in getting money for it.It would make you feel good to know you helped someone.

She had shopped with a friend in Chicago and had a different idea of what she wanted then but didn't fall in love with anything. Then she shopped in small shop(s) in Montana with her mom and could not find anything. I had been telling her about the large selection at the shop where DD had been so successful. So we went when she and DS were here for Thanksgiving, and she fell in love with the first dress she tried on. Her mom is in Montana and couldn't be here for the dress shopping. So I wanted to make up for that as best I could. We had a champagne lunch as part of that shopping trip. Then today we had lunch at El Torito in the harbor with cocktails. She had a raspberry margarita, I had my favorite Mojito, DH had wine and DS had a special margarita.

My favorite source for bedding is eBay. You can find new items from Pottery Barn, West Elm, Anthropologie, Crate & Barrel, etc. at a discount. With your neutral shell, you can go in lots of different directions, even have different covers for winter and summer.
