My new hair!

Last Friday I took the plunge. I wento to my stylist and said I was tired of my current "do" and she had free rein to do what ever she wanted to - cut, color, etc.....

I am now a redhead!

Don't know what you looked like before, but red becomes you. Light eyes and complexion, good combo. High lights are good too. Isn't it fun to just cut loose? I am so easy with my hair, they can do anything (mostly) and I like it.
I am a beautician too so if it's too much I can fix it.
You look great.

You look great in red - light eyes and complexion, and highlights.
I often let my beautician do what she wants, if I don't like it it's an easy fix.

Thanks, still have to design and build/have built medicine cabinet and storage cabinet over toilet, paint edging for one edge of tile, redo window sill (too wide now that tile is up), paint door trim and door, install granite, faucet, sink, drawers and handles... Well, phoned CS this morning, she asked "Did you clean the walls first" (slight language barrier as think she must be French LOL), "of course" I replied. Thinking aha, that's probably what it was. DH installed glass when I was away, and I'm pretty darn sure he would NOT have cleaned it off before he applied the seal (comes with very high bond tape). So, not sure how we will address the seal on the stationary glass, we're thinking somehow heat it up (maybe with hair dryer) and try and reseal it... They will be sending out new seals via FedExpress (hopefully today), but DH wants to try using the heating up method to get these current ones to reseal, and keep the new ones as back-ups. They seem pretty securely fastened today... Dreaming, the bottom shelf is a piece of our granite 'Aran Creme', and the back is a stone mosaic, probably limestone or travertine marble. We will use the same mosaic as backsplash for the vanity along with matching marble pencil liners for edging, still have to decide how high to go...

Nahhh...mistreating these machines would be if you put some bricks in there and ran it through a cycle...dog hair or cotton fuzz not so much. Buy the way...did you run your "Installation Cycle"? (Page 12 of the Installation Instruction Manual). You may want to (if you can) shake out heavily covered items with animal hair outside first so you don't have so much hair left in the machine (this is where classic high water level top loaders excel). As you play with your washer and learn how each cycle works (some cycles may use more water), you can use those cycles to wash the doggie items or heavy fuzzy items. I wish ALL front load washers had a "Water Plus" option to help with really dirty or "fuzzy" items to help wash/rinse these types of things away. I've written to Electrolux and they don't see the need for the added feature for additional water use.

I think your hair looks nice, Debby. I have very thick hair....and that has a downside too. It is extremely hot and grows very fast. I am outside most of the day, and it is so hot, and if I wear a hat, it is unbearable. I don't color it....I did once, and it was a mess because my hair is very white around my face. I also started greying in my 20's. My dad and one brother had snow white hair. The rest of us had grey hair but not the entirely white hair. About every two months, I get my hair cut short. I should go every month, but I hate taking the time to do it. It gets very bushy very quickly, and I let it go until I can't stand it any more. I don't use any conditioners or anything on it. I haven't ever blown it dry, and I don't want it styled. Just cut it and let me out of there. This is me, needing a haircut. (I'm the one on the left. That is my mule, Sabrina, on the right.)

Alexa that looks smashing! A really lovely colour and as Di says, it goes well with your eyes.

I bet it feels good to have your hair off your neck and short enough that a quick comb through in the mornings is all you need to do.

(Makes me want to try doing the same to my hair!)

No picture yet today, at least not for me. Darn it, I wanted to see another redhead, I'll bet it looks great.

I let Ashley talk me into going darker red, I liked the lighter apricot better so next time it's back to the light stuff (which means the gray at my temples doesn't show up so quickly, LOL)
