| Here's Kevin's album of photos from the Abott Kinney Street Fair (first two photos) and the Taste of Soul, in the Crenshaw District, where we went yesterday. As I said before, I bought the fabric panels for my living room at the AKST, and I bought a beautiful 16" diameter gourd bowl (made in Ghana) at the Taste of Soul Fair, which was mostly a Soul Food festival with not many booths. We got a free sample of really good Gumbo from Mee-Ma's Louisiana Gumbo and had Crawfish Etouffée from Harold & Belle's, which was excellent. Then we got a combo plate of catfish, fried chicken breast, and shrimp from another vendor that was only okay. I did discover a few restaurants that I want to try out.
