Lately I have realized that I don't have recent pictures of my two sons, so tonight I corrected that. Here are today's photos.

That looks matted down, but it's difficult to determine if it was because the grass was wet or not. I'd say not. Grasses that were very long and then cut can sometimes do that as the wheels of the mower crush them down and they don't stand up before the mower's passage. In this case, it looks like they aren't standing up even several hours afterward! Was the grass very long? Did you get a small amount of rain after a dry spell (it doesn't look like it, but one never knows)? Is the bottom deck of the mower clogged with matted grass? That can keep the suction of the mower from being able to pull the grass up into the blades.

It's not all that early for pips in zone 7. Lots of mine are pipping here on the northern edge of zone 5. Sea Thunder is already starting unfurl. Last year we had an early, warm spring followed by a late freeze. I covered as much as possible. Sour Puss and Remembering Diana froze to the ground, and other hostas had some damage, but they all looked ok by June. Not great, because we had two hail storms in May, but passable. Your plants should be fine. Just watch the forecast and have some old sheets ready.

We have that same tile on our shower floor in one of the bathrooms that hubby and I remodeled. Ours was a diy job and we are very experienced DIYers. When it came to laying that floor we struggled and struggled when we were doing our mock layout, we could NOT get it to where we couldn’t see seams. I threw my hands up in the air and proceeded to pull off every darn rock off each sheet and we hand set every darn rock. It turned out fantastic (except for a couple of spots where we wiped away too much of the grout during that part of the job, so water likes to pool in those low spots now... sigh... it was the first time we’d ever done that kind of floor though, live and learn, and maybe one day we will chip out the grout there and redo it, for now I just use a little extra bleach when I clean there.) But yeah, I’ve seen more jobs done incorrectly with those sheets of random rocks than done correctly. I hear there’s a way to just pull of some of the rocks but not all of them so that you kind of fill in those lines, but I discovered that after the fact.

Found this guy at Albertsons (the grocery store).... Portulacaria afra 'Variegata' 'Manny' I've looked online for information, I wanted to find pictures of mature plants to see if it's growth habit is the same as P.afra....this plant looks like it might grow more compact/dense....but, it's small and it might just look like that because the leaves are larger....? I couldn't find much information at all....one website said it was a hybrid? Anyway....I think it's cute :)

Your dad looks healthy and happy too. Those bikes are are also good looking, even though I don't know anything about them other than that my brother and son-in-law both have them.

Tell Matthew I want to put blue flames and 'Hot Mama' on my vanilla white mini-van. I'm too chicken to approach the shops that do that work.

What handsome men! And very fast looking motorcycles! Does it worry you, ever?

Jessy, when I was a youngster in my 20s, I worked in a shop a bit like the link here. I designed promotional T-shirts and baseball caps for businesses, often trucking firms. (glamour job!) The owner was an ace hand-pinstriper. He did lots of hotrods and race cars. He was amazing. He decided one day that he didn't want to spend the rest of his life with a paint rag in his pocket and a striping brush in his hand and quit. Turned his business into something different. He still does race cars, autos. and trucks but it's all large format vinyl output but none of the wonderful handlettering that has so much character.

Really, those folks wouldn't bat an eye over your request! We saw it all! Boats tended to especially creative...

I think its adorable how all three have their hands in pockets....kinda like "come on Mom, snap the picture" LOL!!
