Here's the grill I bought for BF for his birthday. All waiting to surprise him when he gets home.

OK, I couldn't resist because he looks so darn cute! But I won't leave it up for long! I cropped it a little bit, but I couldn't crop out that sexy smile! ;)

The grill is really nice. Almost as cute as the BF. Shhh... I won't tell I saw him.. lol.. Looks like the perfect size. I noticed it has it's own umbreall. Happy Birthday LP's BF.

I did ask for the same pattern next year and am planning to put them all together. I wanted to make a full-size quilt in all blues and therefore need more than just the 12 from this year. I figure, instead of making them myself, I'd do the same block next year and then make a spectacular quilt and pillow set! The overall effect didn't come through too well in the group shot, but I wanted to try to show it anyways. I think this is the type of block that looks a lot better when there are a bunch of them grouped into a pattern, rather than individually.

Anne, you don't have to use just one picture for the "icing layout". Use several to show "progress of events", or how about something like "seeing her this way is just icing on the cake!!" As far as the "presents pictures", do a 2 page spread or use the panoramic page protectors; make sure each gift is visible to warrant using it in the layout, if you use most of them then you can label who it was from and maybe how much your daughter has or has not played with it. Remember: journal, journal, journal! I use one photo when it's a special, one of kind pose, or I just want to hi-light it. I usually use an average of 3-4 photos per page (depending on the event etc) Hope this helps. Hilary

Laurie, I've been following your BF references for sometime now and I'm so darn happy for you especially now that I see he's passed the hunk test! Oh, and the grill is nice too.

Did the grill come with the stand that it is on? It looks like it will be fairly easy to store during off season, if you have one. It looks like charcoal only, however, which is what I personally prefer.

I find the brick buildings very unusual - I'm not used to seeing that, and I associate them mostly with Seattle.

It's great that you BF is maintaining himself - it does get more difficult as the years goes by!
