Egg Cup Collection

Here is a previously posted photo of my egg cup collection. It started with a cup used by my grandfather (third from the right, back row, white cup with blue/green egg). As collections go, it just sort of grew. Now I'm looking for unusual eggs to go in the egg cups. I've got real blown eggs, wood eggs, marble eggs, and a couple of plastic ones until I find something better.

None of the cups I have bought cost very much, they just appealed to me with their color and design.

Cool! That new Blue Willow cup will go beautifully with your collection. This is definitely the time of year to hunt for new eggs!

Nice collection Teresa, now I see why you received one in the swap. It's fun collecting something small, that doesn't take up a lot of room.
I have a big box of Hummel figurines, just sitting in the attic with no place to display them here...

Nice collection. I'll keep my eye open for a nice Faberge for ya.

Ha! You do that "sweet" (not evil) Jessy! I'll watch out for the armored car delivery guy and his armed sidekick.

Very nice Teresa!
It's a good idea to collect small but pretty things isn't it. (My daughter's FIL collects motorcycles LOL!)

Oh yes ....a Faberge egg would look nice in my china cabinet too LOL!

So there's two of you! My mom has been collecting for many years too! From her round the world travels she has some interesting pieces.
I especially like that little one with the flowers on the right. You also have some lovely eggs to show them off!

I love that collection. I would love to start some sort of collection, but it would have to be something on the less expensive side. It's the thrill of the hunt, although ebay has taken a lot of that away. The area in and around Philadelphia is full of great places to treasure hunt.
