Updated Makayla and Bud

Just because I was taking pictures of Colleen's gifts, I got a couple extra of the kids. Makayla is a ham and happily posed with her princess feather boa:

Bud is having a good time, watching his sister and playing with his dog, Sadie:

His sister is very entertaining, she's learned to ride her "big bike"......in the kitchen:

Although sister is very entertaining, UmmMa has that wonderful toy that flashes lights when you smile, that makes Bud happy:

Ah yes, just another day in paradise, right Amanda? Dogs, kids, bikes, a beautiful princess and that darned camera.

Thank you, everyone! My fall could've been much worse due to I had my umbrella with me and it had a metal point and I landed on my umbrella and it broke. Luckily, there was a bush right where I went over and helped break my fall, but I still had the wind knocked outta me and the aforementioned injuries, but I am alive and well :-). Oh, and to note, these were just outdoor plants, not Hoyas. Part of their deck is covered, and I was moving them to where they could get some rain out in the open. Teisa, I hope you're okay! Jessica, he really likes to cook, he cans his own salsa (but has decided that mine is better, smart man!) and actually enjoys Penzey's, Trader Joe's and that Mediterranean grocery. I tried to convince him to sign up but he says that the forum is "my own space" and he's not going to "intrude on it". I think he's just scared of you! Plus, I figure after he meets a few of you, he'll be here out of curiosity. Annie

Sherry, you are right, Makayla looks like Ashley and they both have the same personality. It's very funny, from my point of view, not so much from Amanda's. LOL LindaC, before you decide you'd like to keep Bud, you'd better lift him. He's 30 pounds of dead weight at 10 months old, what a moose! He just learned to crawl this week, so now he's EVERYWHERE. Judy, I'm the luckiest of us, I know that. Even weeding and hoeing is better with The Princess and Bruvver to keep me entertained. As for the produce, I'm about 90 miles south of Traverse City and the things that are doing well are things that can tolerate cold weather, like beans, cabbage, pumpkins. I've gotten half a dozen cucumbers when usually by this time I'd have made quarts of Chase's dill pickles. The corn is just starting to make ears, it's weeks late and I don't have a ripe tomato yet. The eggplant have given up and the peppers are so small that if they actually bear fruit I think it'll knock them over. So, that beautiful garden you see is selective, LOL. I didn't show you the parts that aren't doing so well! Sol, that boy is happy nearly all the time. He can be doing the naughtiest thing possible but he'll have that big smile on his face. The only time he's cranky is if he's tired or hungry. We're supposed to hit 90 on Sunday, first time this year. Stacy, I'll send a bit of that your way! Annie

They are so wonderful. How big is Bud now? The last photo reminds me of my house with the huge tower of toys in the background.

Oh my, Robin, Bud weighs nearly 20 pounds and he is 4 months old. He sits in his little swing and his sleeper will gap across his round little tummy, although it's plenty long enough. LOL He eats and sleeps and watches his sister, happy as a clam.

I think every house in the world with kids that age has a "tower of toys". I still do.

I'm so glad that you've given us an update! As I was posting on the Habanero thread, I was thinking that we hadn't seen a photo or heard any news about Bud. He's adorable, just like his big sister!

Love to see your photos Annie. The kids look healthy and happy. Feather boas are perfect for little princesses !
My 9 year old granddaughter still loves things like that and dressing up in princess outfits and sparkly costumes.
