Lars - Thank you. You do have the right idea about the cake plate, now that you said I remember seeing them with petit fours. It will also look good with cookies, brownies or bars. I think the Polish plate is the size of a pie plate. I thought the red knife look different and was good with the Valentine's theme. Silvia

The homemade marmalade is a terrific gift! I love the homemade jams/jellies/preserves/marmalades. The cookbook sounds like one I'd really enjoy. I'll have to check it out. A friend gave me a similar cookbook years and years ago. I still pop clippings into it. It was such a thoughful and useful gift. Lori, your book is also beautiful. The Greek cookbook looks interesting, as does the rub. The kid, who brought home gyro-makings for dinner, wandered in just now and said, "Greek. Kewl." lol.
