Fall Swap? More like Christmas Swap!!! Thanks to Earthydelights

Wow....today was just like Christmas. I truly love everything, and I can't believe the wonderful things, I recieved in my Swap box, from Maryanne (Earthydelights)You really spoiled me, and everything is just perfect!!! I mean everything!!! I'M IN SHOCK.

The postman came to the door, actually I heard him pull up the driveway, and I peeked out the window. He said that I have a bigger box today than usual. That is because, I'm alway's ordering things online. He knows my house. He He!!! I was so happy because, it was my Swap box, and it was from Earthydelights. I opened the box, and about 2 hours later, I finally got all the bubble wrap off each item. That Maryanne really knows how to wrap. She sent me three of her Favorite things ( Just three ) right Maryanne? Anyway's I love them all so very much!!! You did a fantastic job buying for me. I was so excited, I almost dropped one of them. My husband said I was like a kid at Christmas.

1) The first one I opened was a " Beautiful Mikasa Crystal Pitcher & Two Beautiful Crystal Martini Glasses. Just the other night we were at some friends house and we had our first green apple martini's. They were fabulous, and she gave me the recipe, so that's what I will be making in them first. They are perfect because I don't even own Martini glasses.

2) The next thing I opened was four Avacado Green Napkins & four Copper Napkin Rings. They are so nice, and go so well with my kitchen. Maryanne stated that she loves cloth items, so she sent me three Green tea towels too.

3) Then I opened the third items, ( you will notice I said items with an "s") and she sent me Mexican Cruets. I will definately be using them really soon. I love them so much!!! I'm going to Mexico in the spring, so I will have to have a Mexican party and use them then.

Maryanne also sent me a Hallmark Magazine with lots of good recipes in it. There is a recipe in it for " Hawaiian Bread" which I can't wait to make. It looks so good!!!

Maryanne I love everything so very very much, and I really want you to know that I will cherish them always!!! Everytime I use one of them, I will think of you. Thank you once again!!!! You made my day!!! Diana55

P.S...I sure hope that you have pictures to post Maryanne, as my Camera is not back from getting repairs yet. Could you post them for me if you took some.Thank you once again!!!

BTW, I was in Bellingham today..Traffic was great! Took me exactly 1 hour 10 minutes from my door to TJ's..

I knew what was in the box....I KNEW already! But I don't know what any thing looks like...dang! And you have no camera...double dang!

I'm hoping Maryanne took some pictures!

I am ape over my nanking cherry, too, and loving that delicate foliage! I'd like to pop mine in a five-gallon pot as well, I hope it will do alright. The only sad thing is that gorgeous peony plant. The dogs broke it off at the base, but I planted it anyway. Please come back next year, little peony! Everyone was planted in a nice square of earth, all prepared and filled with earthy goodness. I suspect that the lavender came from Dee directly. I'm going to use my little bulb of Applegate garlic from Lilacs tonight with dinner. I want to plant it, but mainly I want to eat it! Oh, and we brought home FOUR gourds!! Started with one and left with four...no idea how that happened, really................not really, I do know, I waited, waited, asked, waited, and then took more :) My boyfriend said he really liked you Kansas gals, "I liked them right off the bat." I liked everyone I met and wish I'd had more time to chat with you all. I really wanted to talk with Amester more and share info about our friends new cancer book, which is chock full of info on how to take care of yourself for prevention and especially on how to keep it from coming back. But, it was a long day and poor Darren looked like he was going to tear up while you were talking about your experiences. His aunt is starting chemo in six weeks and just had her bladder and uterus removed, so it is a touchy subject at the moment for him. I wish we had had time to stay longer, but thanks to Lindy-Loo for giving us a mini-presentation on the soil!! I wish I could remember the names of everyone we met...there was Alice, Lindy-Loo, SingCharlene, the lady who mentioned the flying spaghetti monster, the Kansas gals, Amester, Azura, the couple looking at the tomatoes (one in hat one with perfectly curly hair), CatLady, wasn't there a Ginny? oh, I can't remember!!!! Glad we went, how is that?

omg diana, i didn't take pictures - i must have missed those instructions. dang, dang, dang!

i know i wrap and double wrap and triple wrap, but everything was extremely fragile and i so hoped it made it in one piece. i had no way to track too - different rules mailing out of the country.

GO GET A CAMERA booo hooo hooo. i'm sure everyone would love to see the items. and what kitchen towels are you talking about? the cloth represented the napkin rings silly goose!!!!

glad you enjoyed it all...sorry no pictures. darn, i'm a little disappointed in myself not knowing you didn't have a camera.

Can you pick up a disposable camera? I want to see the Martini Set as I'm thinking about buying one of Joe for Christmas.

And the cruets, I want to see the cruets too!

Diana - what an amazing sounding swap box! I can't wait to see the crystal pitcher and Martini glasses. I don't have Martini glasses either, and that's on my wish list:-)

Are the Mexican Cruets for oil and vinegar? They sound lovely! I can't wait to see pictures, and I hope you get your camera fixed soon Diana!

Michelle....how do you post pics with a disposable camera? I love your new skeleton! He's handsome!!! Do you have a name for him? I am going to see if my girlfriend, can bring hers over. My camera has never worked properly since I got it. It makes me so mad!!! I have sent it to Cannon 3 times now, and they seem to take forever fixing it. The don't really know why it isn't working this time. It won't even turn on. I have tried a new battery in it and everything. Diana55

Great gifts, Diana. I think when you take the disposable cam to be developed like at CVS they put the pics on a disc, and you would have to go from there..I THINK!!
Great job, Maryanne, and I have faith Diana will get us a pic!!

Dianna you package sounds wonderful! Anything Mikassa is a good thing and the mexican cruets sound lovely as well. Would love to see pictures...hopefully you can borrow someone's camera.

Yeah! Booze! But we need pictures. I mean the pitcher and glasses sounds lovely, as well as the napkins and rings (mmmm...copper...and green + copper = luscious) not to mention the cruets but my imagination just isn't that good.
Don't you have any of ye olde fashioned filme? Or I think that they do sell disposable digitals now, don't they?

Actually I've got an idea. Box it all up, send it to me, I'll photograph it & send it all back. I promise!

i'm still kicking myself for not knowing that diana didn't have a camera. i really would love everyone to see what i sent, even if that sounds a little selfish, but they are really wonderful and beautiful things, if i do say so myself.

I'M STILL TRYING TO GET A CAMERA MARYANNE. I HAVE BEEN BUGGING MY STEPDAUGHTER TO BRING HERS OVER, TO TAKE A PICTURE. I STILL HAVE THE ITEMS ON MY DINING ROOM TABLE, READY TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THEM. The martini glasses sound great and I want to see those cruets.

Diana, get a disposable camera and when you get pictures developed you can get a CD with the pictures on it. Load those onto the computer and then you can put them on photobucket or a similar site or send them by email to one of us and we can post them. At least, I'd try to post them, I don't make any rash promises, LOL.

Diana, it is all so beautiful!! The colors on the Mexican cruets are truly stunning. Enjoy it all! Did you make a pitcher of martinis yet? Maryanne, it's great to see just what a wonderful job you did on your swap box:-)

Oh gorgeous! Love the "bubbles" on the martini glasses' stems and I adore the cruet set! The napkins and rings are very, very pretty as well.
Worth the wait but I'm gonna miss the skeletons.

Oh, I'm so glad I came back here again to look. I didn't realize you had posted pictures. Maryanne, I love what you sent Diana. I'm partial to Mexican pottery so I especially love the Mexican Cruets.
