Okay, so I didn't take a picture of the peanut party...But trust me...there was enough peanuts for 4 parcels..LOL
Karen aka Riverrat sent me 3 lovely things!
#1 paper~ some sticker for the tops of canning jars..What a great idea..I never thought of doing that..She says she prefers to put them on the lids, cuz she hates scrubbing off the glass...me too, but it never dawned on me to stick it to the lids. LOL
#2 Pottery~ a gorgeous handmade bowl from a potter in Bama in a beautiful blue green..it looks like the water around here..
#3 Her own choosing~one of her favorite tea towels. It matches the bowl perfectly. I'm not sure the colors are true in my photo.

Oh and the Sushi is the card..isn't that fun?!
Thank you sooo much Karen..it will all be treasured and used..I put bananas in the bowl right away!!!! |

| Karen sure does pick out great stuff...I love the bowl, that's a beauty. The labels are a neat idea for the paper catagory. And the towel...Terri, I have a couple just like that and all I can say is.....use it. It will be your favorite for a long time. The more it gets washed the better it will be. Very nice Karen. | Terri, I'm so glad that the box arrived intact. The pottery is one of a kind so I double boxed and doubled peanuted it! LOL! Nancy is right! The more you use your tea towel the better it becomes. I use some of my linen towels just for poofing bread. I got the idea of top labels from Evil Jessica. I just hate scrubbing lables off of a glass jar... The card really looks like sushi on the computer screen. Hee hee! Enjoy! I sure had fun shopping for you. |

| That pottery bowl is just fabulous, and I love the colors in that towel! Canning lid labels....too cool! I hate scrubbing labels off jars, too so I always label the lids. I have been using the leftover cut-outs from CD labels, tho. Nothing as cool as those that Karen sent you! Linda |

| It's all great! As I always bring up--Karen was my first swap partner many years ago and I still enjoy all that she sent (except the edibles) me because she makes such informed and classy selections. Side Note to self: Great idea Jessy about the labels and thanks for passing it on Karen. I'm going to ask Karen to insturct me so I can make some for my 87 year old neighbor at the cabin who's canning puts us to shame. |

| Love the pottery! The labels will be great for all of the homemade stuff you make Terri...maybe even your candles if they come with lids. The towel is beautiful too. What a great package Karen! David |

| Oh yeah, I love that bowl, but my favorite is the tea towel. I really like those colors, very cool and soothing. I also like those labels, katie C sent me some round ones because I usually just write on the jar lids with a Sharpie, LOL. I hate to scrape off labels and always label the lid, you're gonna love those. Annie |

| What great colours in both the tea towel and the bowl....very unique..just love them! I too hate peeling those damn labels off the jars, lid labels are perfect. Now that card...that is wild! I thought OMG Karen sent sushi , what was she thinking!!?!?! |

| I have to say that I also thought that she sent sushi!! The Japanese market here sells fake sushi (they might be candles), and so that really threw me off!! The bowl is stunning, and it's really fantastic to have a one-of-a-kind item like that. The tea towel is stunning also, and I would be tempted to use it as part of a table top decoration. I never thought to put stickers on the tops of jars - I guess might have to start doing that! Lars |

| I got the lid label idea from Katie. Then I went noodling around the Harvest forum - folks there are happy to share PrintMaster tips for how to do it. I've got a collection of garnier thibault towels too, courtesy of my MIL. They will outlast ME. Nice bowl. I know we'll be seeing it soon with one of your recipes in it! |
