| My swap box from Pam (dedtired) just arrived this afternoon and I couldn't be happier! It's like she stepped into my kitchen, looked around and figured out exactly what I need! Must have been quite a jaunt from Philadelphia!
First off, the pottery item is a lovely blue casserole dish with a wooden spoon for a handle. I'd been looking at similar dishes a few weeks ago but just didn't pick one up. I'm so glad I didn't, because the blue Pam found is perfect! The textile item, a burgundy apron, is something I've needed for a while as well. Primarily when I'm cooking tomato sauce and end up cussing at the inevitable polkadots on my white shirt! Of course Pam couldn't just get an apron, she had to go the extra mile and have it printed! The final "choice" item is a very cute set of measuring spoons. They're inscribed with the ingredients for a happy marriage and will definitely be used!
As bonuses, Pam also sent me two packages of Tasty Kakes in peanut butter and butterscotch. I may even share them with the dh. Or maybe not. Next was a local magazine, Main Line Today. It's always interesting to see the type of ads, services and stories that appeal to people in different areas. She also included a few local grocery ads as a comparison. Is it sad that I spent ten minutes going through ads for stores I'll never visit looking for bargains? :)

| Hi Bri, I am glad everything made it safely to you. I was beginning to wonder where the heck that box was. The USPS is sure slow. I hope the Tastykakes aren't stale. I'm glad you like everything, and I hope you find it useful. I should have bought two of the blue baking dishes because I could use something like that. After I saw the beautiful box you sent out, I wished I had included something even more special, although I wouldn't have a clue how to crochet an afghan. Enjoy it all in good health! | Wow, another awesome swap package! I love that casserole! Very clever to use the spoon as a handle, I've never seen one like that before. The spoons are so cute too. And to have the apron personalized just for Bri is just over-the-top cool! Linda |

| That Apron is so special. And the spoons are adorable. But it is that blue dish that I'm coveting. It is a great shape and colour and will come in handy for any number of different foods. Well done Pam. Ann |

| Oh! The blue dish is really great, and I really LOVE the apron- and especially it's message :-) What a great idea! ... and it's always wonderful to recieve local newspaper/magazines. Brenda55 included one with one of my first swaps and it was really fun. Cool! |

| I think that casserole dish is one of the most unique things I've ever seen, how handy. And those spoons? I have a set, sent to me by Readinglady when Elery and I got engaged. It's fun to think you have a "twin" in your kitchen. Of course, the apron is one of a kind, and a cook always needs an apron. Tastykakes get stale? Pam, I thought those were like Twinkies, so many preservatives that they'd stay fresh for months, maybe longer, LOL. Annie |

| I hate to say it, but I love the spoons!! I keep measuring spoons hanging on the wall next to my stove, and those would be so much more attractive that what I have now! I've never seen a bowl like that - great idea, and I expect it will get plenty of use! Personalized aprons are great! I got one in a swap from Lee, and it is one of my favorite items ever. | Those spoons will remind you of Pam everytime you use them. Awwwwww. Love the apron, hope its a recruiting agent for the CF, we need more MLC virgins! And I LOVE the casserole, perfect and clever! (note to Pam...hey nothing stopping you from sending something special later as a surcie....ask me how I know...heh heh...)
