I think you should have put the last picture first! That way they could see that it wasn't alot..since it all fits nicely into that "average" size oval stoneware.

This was a really tough swap for me..because all of my favorite things aren't expensive or fancy. So I had to "beef" up the presentability.

Oh and Jessy, when you burn the candle up..just set the jar in a pan of simmering water, melt any remaining wax, wipe good with paper towels, and then wash in hot soapy water, and you've got another canning jar. :o)(The beauty of soy wax!) I meant to toss in an extra top seal..(duhho!)

Great haul, Jessy. That fig-ish candle is so appropriate. And Tayberries....mmmm....Good choices, Terri!

Terri, what a beautiful swap box you put together! That cookbook is calling my name. I love anything flavored with coffee, and all sorts of coffee and espresso drinks. I hope your DH has fun with that one Jessy. What are tayberries? Whatever they are, your jam looks delicious! How appropriate for EJ is that fig candle? It is reminding me that I have about a teaspoon left of Jessy's amazing fig preserves. I am just nursing it along, hoping somehow, someway, I will find more, make some, or the Fig Fairy will come again:-) The towels and baking dish are a gorgeous shade of blue. Way to go with the bamboo, it's very environmentally friendly and looks great too. Enjoy it all swap buddy!

Hey Donna and Katie..I'm glad the humor wasn't lost..You two picked up the joke..Poor Jessy, she said she didn't want to see another fig..So now she has to smell them for 80+ hours.

Donna, I love bamboo, I have some mini bamboo items that I use every day and LOVE..then my favorite wood spoons are all made from Bamboo..and whenever we decide to redo our laminate floors..I'm going with BAMBOO..LOL

I think the only thing more appropriate for Jessica than figs would be pomegranites (or is that persimmons, LOL).

Like Donna, I'm wondering what the heck a Tayberry is, I'm sure it's yummy and I really like the "reusable" canning jars.

A person can never have too many cutting boards and my favorite bread recipe has oatmeal, maple and 3/4 cup of "strong coffee". I've never seen a coffee cookbook before, though.

Good job, Terri, even though you did bend the rules, just a bit. I had a secretary who called that "rearranging the facts to fit the circumstances". (grin)

Hey Annie, I like that! I've just coined it..

Tayberry~is a hybrid between a blackberry and a raspberry. It originated in Scotland. It's one of the berries grown at the place I used to work out. The u pick farm. The farm is on a part of an old sea inlet that was dyked and drained, so the soil is very fertile.
It's high in pectin, and is the BEST darn berry..LOL Okay I love salmon berries too..but those are harder to find..And most of the natives have been destroyed.

Thats it I'm going to dig into that Tayberry tomorrow - I drop my kid off at the ungodly hour of 7:30 AM for a school program, and I'm craving crepes with Tayberry when I get home. Off I got to find a crepe recipe...and for dinner tonight, burgers seasoned with that rub! I can't stop opening it and smelling it!

Pretty towels and love the coffee cookbook. I have never had Tayberry jam. Let us know what it was like. Pretty blue bakeware and the bamboo cutting board looks like the perfect size. I will have to look for one. Nice swap Terri.
