| Some of us are relatively new to cooking forum but migrated over from other places so it might be helpful to say what other forums you post on. There is an option for "entire site" instead of "this forum" in the search but it might be helpful to go ahead and point your partner in the right direction.
We finished remodeling in the spring and I still post on the kitchen forum and a bit on appliances to return the help I received. I'm sure there are lots of tidbits about me that can be found there such as evidence of what an annoyingly analytic personality I have. :^) |

| I hang out on the Kitchen Forum still, even though I finished my kitchen 9 months ago. I also can be found on the Kitchen Table Forum. Such a lively group, always an interesting topic to find there. I have been on the Appliances Forum, Flooring, Plumbing, Cookware, Recipe Exchange, Fiber and Needle Arts, Crafts, and Pets. On the Garden Web side (where I started many years ago) I am occasionaly on the Roses Forum (all of them), Amaryllis, Brugmansia, Dahlias, Citrus, Heirloom Gardens, Tomatoes, Tropical, Greenhouse, Vegetable Gardening, and CA gardening. With hanging out on all these forums, it makes me wonder how I get anything else done. Well to be honest I don't get as much done as I use to. I am too busy reading about what I should be doing. |

| I started years ago on Building a Home, that was 99. Then after we built, I didn't go there anymore. Last Jan I started posting on Holidays, and I go there a lot. Very small group..it picks up around now, but during the summer maybe 10 of us. So now it is there and here! Good idea, Cloud! |

| I started at the roses and found this place. I found home here, but do still check on roses and the garden party. |
|
| I started on Kitchens (cloud_swift & aptosca, I remember both of you from there! It's like we're part of the graduating class) and still check in from time to time. I visit home decorating (because I'm hopeless) and pets. But lately cooking is where I've been spending all of my forum time. Of course then there are the Fiestaware boards... Nina |

| The Laundry Forum? But I mostly lurk, don't post much there. When I'm bored I also read the Stepfamilies forum, whooo weee..... |

| Don't laugh but here is almost daily routine around this site..1)Holidays 2)Crafts 3) Trash to Treasure 4) Cooking and all its side links ... stay here the longest 5) Entertaining 6) Recipe Exchange 7) Organizing 8) Cleaning 9) sometimes Kitchens and Laundry (actually laundry started me on this forum..bad experience with w/d) Then I go to Garden side and puruse garden junk, new england gardening, and lawns since we are installing. I LOVE THIS SITE! |
|
| I've only hung around this forum, but with a kitchen reno in our future plans, I'll be looking there for inspiration. Catherine |

| I sometimes post on the Banana & Palms Forum, as I am a lover of Tropicals. Yes I do grow both of these plants in British Columbia!!! I have a palm tree in my backyard, and several Banana plants. I grow the cold hardy varieties. Diana55 |

| OMG, Jessy. I just checked out Stepfamilies. Whoa! That is so funny/sad. Remind me never to remarry. I started with Rhododendrens, went Kitchens, then here. I also check out Bathrooms (I'm doing one soon), PA Gardening, back to Kitchens for the heck of it. The only other forum I really love is Reader's Paradise -- but not as much as I love Cooking. |
|
| I was strictly on the gadren side when I first started, and I still visit the Ohio, Herbs, Frugal and Winter-sowing forums regularly. On this side, I post on the Cooking forum, but also read the Small House and Saving Money forums. And -- the same way I enjoy fiction from other cultures -- I like to peruse the Organizing Forum! |

| I started out on Home Building, I think it must have been 1999... Found CF in 2000, was a paid member for a while but let my dues lapse and lurked for a short time. Paid back up and rejoined the fun, then they dropped the dues a short time later! LOL I hang out here most of the time, Minnesota Gardening is my second favorite. I don't "hang out" at any others, really, but do occasionally pop in at Daylily, Perennials, Stained Glass, Garden Junk, Trash to Treasure, Pets, among others. Linda |

| I started on GW back when there were only a few forums and no Home site was even in the cards. Must have been 1997 maybe?? I stopped visiting all together until about 3 years ago and with our remodel looming, I did a search on something and the Kitchen Forum was one of the links. Now I mostly stick to cooking and harvest. But once in a while revisit Kitchens and Bathrooms. I love the Old House forum but I've not been there in ages now...actually forgot about it, must be my mind is on something else...LOL! Just had time this week to start posting on GB again. When I have a spare hour or 2 I do my genealogy and this is an entirely different set of web links. Michelle |
