Mownie, Canguy, everone else, the carbs range from NEW to excellent working used. I noticed that 3 governor springs were used on this engine. One is for governed idle and the other 2 I guess are for all speeds parts 692136 and 263054. Part 692136 is the most interesting to me as it states it is "Yellow" the one on this engine is silver/metal color not a hint of any paint colors. SO maybe I have the Governed idle spring? Would make sense, trying to run it faster than the gov spring is made for should cause lots of hunting. I still do not understand why when I converted it back to the older 190402 configuration, using ALL the parts (carb, throttle control, gov arm, spring)from a great running 190402 engine, it still wanted to hunt. Different flyweights? Who knows. But I am going to order 1 each of these springs and give that a go. Thing is making me NUTS!! Should just convert it to an Air Vaine and be done with it, LOL. Most nozzles are dirty because the filter wasn't changed, the filter didn't do its job, the tech didn't replace the pump screen, the oil wasn't treated, nozzle after-drip (on older systems) or there's a two line oil system constantly circulating (cold) oil through the filter & pump strainer. With the smaller nozzles we're running these days, I install a dual filtration setup with vacuum gauge, and single line oil supply on almost all new installations. We try to replace dual line systems whenever possible, and/or use a Tigerloop on some jobs to eliminate cold oil, and so much constant circulation/filtration of oil on two line systems. Micro-Kleen Dual Filtration link below. http://www.sidharvey.com/public/new_products.htm Many of the typical General & FulFlo filters I see don't do a good job of filtering oil since they don't have much filtration area, they let smaller particles pass by, and once they're loaded they let more pass by. The most popular filter in the area is a General 1A-25A with 41 square inches of filtration area and a 50 micron filter element. Not too impressive compared to a GarBer spin-on filter with 500 square inches of filtration area, and 10 micron filtration. When a spin-on filter loads, the flow will stop. When a standard filter loads, particles will still pass by and get into the lines, pump/strainer, fittings, high pressure line, nozzle etc. I treat most problem jobs by flushing the line(s) upgrading to dual filtration (Standard Primary/Spin-On Secondary) adding Fuel Right oil treatment, and trying to eliminate dual line systems (when possible). I dump salvaged fuel into the tanks at my vacation home all the time. The pump strainer is spotless, and I'm on my third year with the same nozzle. The difference in knowledge, skills and quality of service between techs in this business is incredible. The person that installs, cleans, tunes and services your oil fired heating equipment makes all the difference in the world.

I am sorry you are going through this - and worry it could be in our future in Canada as well. My sister-in-law works for Canada Post and has just signed new medical contracts that would require her meds to be mailed to her. She is not happy and neither is anyone else. One woman takes the same eyedrops as my husband and they have to be refrigerated until opened. What about during the freezing weather and boy have we had it this year. Then there is the summer warmth - what will that do to prescriptions meds? We hardly have any prescriptions but in the warmer weather I take a cooler bag with me to big up the meds and always go directly home with them. Then we have the thievery issue - and it happens. And of course, delays in the mail. I was surprised that Canada Post which has a very strong union in Canada is doing this. I suspect that Canada Post in an attempt to retain business will be trying to market mail-order drugs to private companies and would look kind of foolish if they did not do it themselves (even for a Crown Corp. - the shareholders being the taxpayer). I hope you get everything sorted out. I know exactly what you mean about getting a different person every time you call and the next person having no record of the previous call.

Well, this is not as easy as I thought. I waited for a little break in the rain. Thought I can just put the package on the porch or somewhere else dry. There was a gate right at the driveway with a “beware of dogs” sign. Rang the bell, no answer. I didn’t have a big enough bag in the car to leave it at the gate (it’s already raining again).
