Don't feel stupid Warren. The only stupid question is the one you DON'T ask! Once you do it you'll get the hang of it. First all you pix should be in Photobucket. I think it's the easiest site. When you decide what pix you want to post here, click the individual boxes under those pics. Go to the bottom of the photobucket page, and click on "Generate html blah blah blah codes" (great qoute there right, lol) A new page comes up..you want to just click on the contents of the first box/option. It will automatically be copied for you when you click on it(a lil yellow box comes up that says "copied") then come here and paste it into your post. I always like to do it with 2 windows open, just easier for me. I know how ya feel, I didn't get much sleep either..can barely type, lol. coooofffeeeee!!!! Ya need any more help just holler! Thanks. I think everyone here knows that I really enjoy my garden. I like the fact that I have so much diversity that there is always something going on. The daylilies. lilies and roses are the stars of the summer garden here but afew years ago when I started with Iris was when I focused more on extending the spring show. Now I am adding spring bulbs. I want it to start with the crocus and Daffodils, go to the tulips then Dutch Iris. Then pick up with the Siberian and Tall Bearded Iris. Somehere in there the Clematis bloom. That brings us to the roses blooming and right after the Asiatic Lilies. After the Asiatics the Oriental and hybred lilies bloom while the daylilies start up. The daylily season is long around here as I have many, many late and extra late bloomers as well as my main daylily beds. Along about when the main daylily bloom is done in July, the roses have their second flush of the year. After that the sedums start their bloom. Summerlong color is added by various and many honeysuckles I have here as well as some of the perennials like Coneflowers, Shasta Daiseys, Hollyhocks, Agastache and yarrow. Adding to all of this are my favorite annuals that bloom summerlong. PLus I have numberous flowering shrubs that start in spring and go in sucession until summer like Serviceberries, Various Viburnum, Azealas, and lots more that I am forgetting to name. It is a very busy garden and I love it that way.

I feel the same as you Bill. My lawn has improved greatly in last two years. IÂm sure your kind words reflect the thought of many including myself who have benefited from reading the forums here. Two of my neighbors have started using SBM, and their lawns are improving. Thanks Bill for reporting your success and encouraging others who may be considering the organic approach to lawn maintenance.
